Argus Dental & Vision, Inc. Awarded AAAHC Re-Accreditation Status

Argus Dental & Vision, Inc. was recently awarded the prestigious health plan accreditation by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC) for its dental and vision lines of business. The renewed accreditations reinforce Argus Dental & Vision as a distinguished benefits organization dedicated to delivering the highest standards in service excellence.

AAAHC accreditation is reserved for organizations that demonstrate substantial compliance with the AAAHC’s nationally-recognized core standards and accreditation policies. Argus underwent a full on-site survey (audit) to determine ongoing compliance with the accreditation standards. AAAHC accreditation evaluated the quality of care that we provide to our members.

This accreditation means that Argus has been recognized for providing evidence of excellence in the delivery of high-quality care based on the latest industry standards. Dr. Nicholas M. Kavouklis, Chief Executive Officer, Argus Dental & Vision, said, “We are very proud to have earned our AAAHC dental and vision plan re-accreditation. This milestone is a true attestation of our continuous focus on providing high-quality service and value to our members.”

Argus Dental & Vision was the first dental and vision plan in the United States to be accredited for quality care by the AAAHC. Since launching in 2007, Argus Dental & Vision has grown to over 1.2 million members.
